Arrived in Bend Oregon to purchase the coach and discovered that overnight, the previous owner, had tried to move it in the dark on his own and hit the top of the rear ladder against the overhang on his garage. Dean, the previous owner, apologized profusely. He admitted that he broke his cardinal rule, never move the coach without a spotter.

I was unsure what to do, I wanted a cosmetically perfect coach and had to balance this small ripple in the sheet metal / paint at the top of the ladder. I thought about pulling out but my good friend who flew out with me, his job on these adventures is to provide a second opinion, told me to stay on course. It would not be the first time he pulled me away from deals that were going sideways! In this case he had inspected the entire coach, having spent a lifetime with heavy truck equipment he looked at the mechanicals and said I would be crazy not to buy it. Thanks to his good counsel I decided to move forward. Dean is a good man, we worked out a slight reduction in price and shook hands. The deal is done.
