Coachcraft repairs completed, great job guys.
They estimated it would take three months to complete but multiply that by three?!? In all seriousness I told them to prioritize full timers that roll in with real problems. I don’t live in my coach and being without isn’t a burden. The entire team there was fantastic to work with, in particular JohnBoy who is retiring and for me will be sorely missed.
Arrived early morning, paid my last invoice, pulled my spare key from the secret radiator hidey hole and set the wheels spinning towards Boston!
What an incredible difference in the steering. I told them to “get the Wander out of the steering” and they sure did. There were a few close calls last year with how the coach would sometimes float into the other lane without steering input. I figured it was panhard bushings and steering box, now both are replaced. The steering is now tight and responsive, it goes straight as an arrow on the highway and the steering wheel does too. I can steer with one hand now, incredible difference but it cost me a pretty penny. One million, six hundred and eighty six thousand, four hundred and twelve pennies to be exact!

Replaced all Panhard / Torque Arm bushings
Replaced all four front airbags
Replaced all four rear airbags
Replaced Koni shocks on drive axle (fronts just replaced by me)
Weld and replace exhaust pipe where removed for front airbag replacement, fix a few existing leaks
Replaced Perkins Generator engine temp sender, 12v stop solenoid and various injectors
Sent steering gearbox and power steering pump off to Power Steering Inc in Dallas TX for reman
Reinstalled steering gearbox and power steering pump
Replace power steering hoses
Lube front end and chassis
Performed front end alignment
Centered steering wheel
Removed old non Silicone Hoses in engine compartment and replaced with Silicone
Replace faulty dash rocker switch for marker lights
Tire vendor on-site to replace leaking valve stem
Other miscellaneous repairs associated with the above tasks
